If Cleveland didn't lose to the Sox on Thursday they would be 10-0 right now in their last 10 games. Unbelievable. Fitting that the team the Sox are chasing is the hottest team in the league. It's actually amazing they are still in it considering what Cleveland has done over the last 2 weeks

Yep, Sox have gone 7-3 in their last 10 games and dropped 2 games further back in that time.

theres a 1% chance we win the division

Cleveland can do no wrong

its what good organizations do

There is only 5 teams who won at least 7 out of their last 10.

Wild card standings are interesting.  The Brewers conceded the division still have wild card shot.

Wildcard may be just as slim as a chance.  Seattle and Balt only won four of 10.

The Tiger series so far does not bring hopes the Sox will win many more games.

Sometimes its your year, that's the way it went a lot of times for the Sox in 2005, now Cleveland is reaping the same good fortune.

For a team predicted to finish 3rd.  If they don't win the division you really can't call it a failure.

I think they’re too far ahead to catch but unlike cleveland the Sox do hold the head to head tiebreaker over both Tampa and Seattle. They would need one of them to collapse over the final two weeks to make things interesting. Seattle has a soft remaining schedule but Tampa’s is brutal - 1 vs TEX, 6 vs HOU, 4 vs TOR, 3 vs CLE, 3 vs BOS. 6-11 or 7-10 is certainly possible, which means the Sox would have to finish 13-3 or 12-4. Tall order

Well, I still think that we'll win the division if we sweep Cleveland.  Kansas City is bad; but they are trying, so I could see them taking a couple of those 6.
Of course I'm assuming we won't lose anymore to Detroit.

If Gimenez homers, just have to laugh.

Twins holding on to their 1-0 lead going into the top of the 9th, hopefully Duran comes in the bottom half, the Guardians tie it, then the games goes another 7 innings before Twins win. Please.

Ok. 1-0 Min going to the 9th

Just want the Twins to win today and tomorrow. Make Tuesday mean something, and then hopefully the noose starts to tighten on them.

No just win in the 9th please. Twins lost 6 straight to them, just ge the W.

Bases loaded, 2 out for Minne in the top of the 9th. Arraez at the plate.

Got a hit. 3-0 Minne.

Needed this game badly. We basically have to try our best to win out. It won't happen obviously but we have to play every game left like game 7.

Joe Ryan saved Minnesota's bullpen.

Naylor swinging on 1-0, down 3 runs. Kinda dumb.

Twins win tomorrow and they did what we expected 2/5. Sox have to win all 4 vs guardians. Always was gonna be that way

Gray vs Quantrill tomorrow afternoon.

3 1/2 back . this Cleveland series is now looming very large indeed.

Need the Twins to win tomorrow and a sweep of Cleveland to have a chance.

Future White Sox for sure.
