No other org in baseball would have Sean Burke as their 7th starter so quickly. It's what the Sox do.

Well that's probably not true

Good to see the super low walks

I don't think so considering he had a 4.8 ERA in AA last year (BHam is also a pitchers park fwiw) and was drafted in '21. I follow league wide prospects *very* closely and Burke stands out as a huge outlier to me in terms of how aggressive the Sox are pushing him.

Remillard 3 run HR after Carlos Perez double and Montgomery walk. 8-4

I would guess most teams have a better “close to the majors” pitching prospect than the Sox do.

It's all they have. Bare cupboard.

Remember fiscal responsibility is more important than winning.

Pedro was big on Navarro I heard. At least they scored some runs.

I realize it’s only 5 games into spring training, but I was really hoping to see some power from the core players early to at least begin proving the power outage last year was a fluke. Instead, they’re barely getting hits at all. And soon most of them are going to leave spring training for the WBC. Not exactly giving fans much to believe in right now. Yuck.

Looks like he’s 50 times faster than last year ?

I had to watch it again because my first reaction was they put the wrong player’s name on the video.

SP depth is dreadful.
