Gio not having any goodwill built up after 3 very good years is quite something

I kind of think his velocity will tick up after a couple spring innings.

3 runs in still no outs .SHeets singles up the middle to cut it to 5-4. 1 out 2 on.

They're doing this against a real reliever, too. Victor Gonzalez is pretty good.

I think Ramos is going to have a big year. Like what I'm seeing defensively at 3B too.

His defense has been a very pleasant surprise to me so far this Spring.

I'm skeptical that Romy having the best off-season ever will actually translate to anything, but I'd love to be wrong.

Romy hit 32 HR and stole 29 bases over his last 480 some at bats in the minors. It’s not like he’s some schlub came out of nowhere

There are extenuating circumstances for it, but he's been terrible since breaking out in BHam 2 years ago.

If you say so. Eight home runs along with a solid walk rate in 138 at bats doesn’t seem terrible to me

The last half inning was a little rough

Upon further review, i didn’t realize four of those homers came in 17 ABs at rookie ball.

8-4 LAD.  Let the gnashing of teeth and rending of garments commence.

Let's cheer them on for losing.

I think it’s way, way more likely to wear and tear of using the arm slot he was using.

Gio has loose wires.

And to the naked eye, his stuff was way down and seemed to give up a lot of hard contact.

This is what scares me the most. In my non-expert opinion, he looked terrible last year. Not just the results. His stuff looked awful.

Jesus Confidential.

Surprised people are taking anything out of this. Feels like people are overanalyzing spring.
