The Sox really should have aimed higher for outfield depth than Marisnick & Billy

It’s going to be brutal if Robert misses any time.

  • The once AFL MVP loves Arizona weather....i'd walk him everytime just to be safe....but then the man of steal might take 2B, 3B and Home so this is an early test of Pedro's managerial strategic style.

As I sit here in the RF grass I definitely notice Diekman is still terrible

Don’t worry, Bummer seems totally healthy…not

#90 in to pitch.

The real value in that trade was definitely NOT the extra year.

Parke

Yolbert Sanchez is there today. Maybe he’ll get in.

Robert is the most glaring one but there's no viable depth in place for if Colas struggles or Benintendi tweaks something and has to miss a few weeks.

Always funny to think about what exactly was their game plan gonna be if Pollock didn’t opt out

Some guys just look wrong in a Sox uniform. Marisnick is one of them.

Yeah he looks bad whenever I watch. Him and Erik Gonzalez are quite bad

Don’t worry the plan is to run Sheets out there in the OF. He’s currently playing LF

From what I’ve seen out of both of them the past 2 days is nothing short of underwhelming

Haseley for RF lol.   Might be better than Nick Williams?

And Cespedes Family hasn't been heard from much recently...

Pollock as a 4th outfielder and platoon option would be pretty good! But we know Jerry wouldn't have signed off on Benintendi with Pollock's $ still on the books

Working on his defensive versatility.

(Too bad the White Sox can't afford to get someone to work with Jimenez,  Burger, Vaughn, Sheets and even TA7 on their defense.)

Lookd like opposing teams are going to run the Sox off the field like the Guardians did consistently last year.

Never a good sign when an outfielder you lose to NPB (Mark Payton) is better than all of the names we're talking about

That particular contract will be a trivia question considered almost unsanswerable a decade from now.

Biggest contract in White Sox team history...?

Unless there's an entirely new family owning the team by then.

Nice oppo power there from AV. Just missed a HR

JD Davis somewhere is getting in his RF reps in case they play the service time game with Colas.

The extension Colson Montgomery signs before his major league debut in 2025 will be the biggest

AV's wheels on full display right now lol

What, you don't think Eloy in the OF is a great replacement?

?

Vaughn triple. Might've been an inside the Park for anyone else and he scored on a wild pitch 5-3

He's going to be a fine player.  Just not sure about great... which is what they desperately need.
