I found who we trade Yoan for

Trout's contract is far worse for seven more seasons ($37.1M/season). He's finished with 2.7 bWAR three of the last four seasons (one being the owner lockout 2020).

Was considering for fantasy but wasn't sure how long Mountcastle was going to be out.  Nice story.  Basically missed two full seasons of playing time.

?

Idk which team is worse to be a fan of right now. Sox, Angels, A's, Mets, Padres, Royals or Rockies. All of those are pretty damn horrific.

Cardinals?

Well those first three teams have almost no hope for competitiveness in 2024 and beyond...

Acuna pulled with calf issues last night...didn't play today.

Return date uncertain.

Rockies and Royals don't really have a hope for competitiveness in the near future either. You can at least make a case for NYM and SD.

the guy who had to deal with a Reindorf type ownership

I gave up following Liverpool when these scumbags ruined the team, tried to ruin the entire EPL with their Super League / No Relegation schemes. John Henry and American sports owners are by and large welfare queen scum.

They might if Getz and Grifol use the Sox as recruitment.

That might have been another reason for hiring Tony in thinking he would bring front office people.  An 80+ aged delusional owner doesn't realize most of those people are retired.

Cardinals, Padres and Mets are trying to win.  White Sox re not and other three don't have resources.

The two division races are far more exciting than any wild card race.

Texas looked like they were in big trouble after losing key players including Scherzer, but have bounced back this weekend in Seattle. If the red hot Royals hang on, Texas and Houston are tied entering Sunday.

Houston and Texas travel to Seattle the final week, Texas playing Anaheim and Houston traveling to Arizona for their other opponents.

Meanwhile, Tampa also looked for dead after losing Wander Franco, but they are battling to the end. They travel to Boston and Toronto to close the season, with Baltimore getting the easier slate on paper hosting Washington and Boston to close out their season.

If the Mariners beat the Rangers today, the Astros would be out of the playoffs, going to Seattle and Arizona this week. The Royals swept in Houston. Astros went 39-42 at home.

What was once a solid 7-2 Rangers lead now a quite precarious 9-8 lead over Seattle late....

Kelenic's 763 ops and 255 average would fit in perfectly with the White Sox.

Rangers swept the Mariners.

Looking like-

Astros at Twins…winner goes to Texas

Blue Jays at Rays…winner goes to Baltimore

I mean...how can pass that up?

Mariners are going to be eliminated from AL West contention after tonight.

Rangers magic number will be 2 on the Astros.

AL playoff picture likely won’t change from what it is now.
