  • You seem to keep insinuating in your posts that LaRussa was not a problem.  He clearly was.  Not the whole problem, but a pretty damn big one.

  • I'm still happy we did the Grandal deal...we targeted the top choice at a position and spent the money.

  • A single tear descends down Yaz's face as he remembers the shift can no longer hurt him.

Sox are trying to give this one away

Who's the first one out of the bullpen?

Clevinger hanging on by a thread to be positioned for a W.

Gonna need 10 to win this one.

They’re gonna blow this game aren’t they

Me thinking the horror show pitching would take a day off

Felt kind of inevitable after scoring only one in that situation.

Crowd counting down along with pitch clock lol...that was predictable as well.

I just don’t understand how they’re making so many bad pitches. Clevinger was hanging almost every slider that inning, and we’ve seen that a heck of a lot this year.

Hard to blame Katz.

Watched Clevinger and Manaea a lot last year and both were largely unreliable.

Kopech and Giolito both can't seem to get out of their own heads...and are messes physically/mechanically as well.

No way that ball should have been hit on the ground.

Moncada ground ball city tonight

Trying to squeeze an inning out of Clevinger with a fully rested pen feels dangerous

but it helps that Pittsburgh has a terrible bottom 3 of their lineup

booooooo

He’s hanging virtually every slider

Hanger city.

*This* is when Joe Kelly flips the switch and becomes a functional reliever again

he's been gassed for like 20 pitches

Oh god it's Joe Kelly.

I just don’t get why he didn’t let him start the inning

God, I feel like I’m the only one who thinks the pitch clock is insane. This is so damn stupid.

Everything about Kelly is unpleasant to watch

Just when you thought this team had hit a low point this off-season, it’s amazing that there is no floor.

I wish there was common sense being applied. If no one is actively trying to slow the game down there shouldn't be a violation.

I've always liked Joe Kelly
