  • This Sox team is truly awful.  They suck in every aspect and don’t play hard at all.  Grifol really should be fired.

Tim should be one of the first ones to go.

  • That's up to the bench coach but I don't know his name.

That call was as bad as the one to Alvarez

This umpire is blind

He has not progressed one bit since he was traded and regressed due to injury.  The TJ, covid and mental health issues pretty much stagnated his career.  Why he isnt being used as the 2 inning reliever when he had success..... well.....its the White Sox

That being said f*** this offense and as long as Anderson is trotted out to bat lead off the are not improving.

Well, even bigger problem is that we don't even have a potential fifth starter with Martin out.

It’s just maddening how so many of the guys have regressed instead of improved as they reach their peak years.

Team wins or losses this year no longer matter

To me it is aparent that post COVID they are investing less in baseball ops and other teams more.  There is literally no player development.

There is a s%*# ton of 3/4/5 starters out there every year that they are too cheap to sign.  Look at the cubs.

I didn't realize Robert had as many HRs and RBI as he has. Not half bad, tho RBI mean nothing nowadays I've been told.

It's kind of weird watching a game knowing Sox aren't going to win. We're not beating houston with our pen tonight folks. Chalk up another L.

Sheets is horrible to watch when he's on a cold streak... because you just know that outfield defense will reach out and bite them.

Zavala had his one decent 3/4 season of offense and now that has evaporated, too.

Better score here.

Quality at bat by Andrus, good lord

Great swing Andrus

Nice at bat Elvis ... not.

What? This has been most of the season so far lol

Andrus' mlb career is rapidly coming to a close.

Andrus has to work the pitcher a bit more in such a key at-bat.

Sigh.

Just keeping Elvis around for when they trade TA I guess

Wow, Haseley hit a rocket there on the 3-1 count.  Good riddance, bring up Frazier.

Hes the only veteran presence and there are zero options.

That inning illustrated so many of the issues this team has had the last two seasons

Not sure it was discussed in this thread, just want to reiterate that Rick Hahn is a freaking coward.  Not meeting with the media today is gutless.  Guess he is hoping his favorite bloggers say none of this is his fault.

Woeful.

Haseley had his one big offensive game of the season already.

(The Phillies then went out and signed Bryce Harper after Herrera/Williams/Haseley all flopped.)

Steve Stone has given up on giving honest analysis.

Kopech was not good today.  Effectively wild, yes.

Surprised he didn't sneak it in during the rain delay with two friendly local reporters and nobody from Philly/out of town or national.

His velocity and slider depth were good. The rest was horrendous
