Please stop swinging at the first pitch when the pitcher couldn't throw a strike the previous batter. It's all I ask in life.

He's 25 and will keep improving. Development squashed between the Owners Aborted 2020 season and the La Russa debacle of playing him regularly in Right Field and Left Field.

Sure, but they already passed up opportunities to extend him...so he will eventually end up in the same boat as Giolito, followed by Cease and Kopech.

Does it really make sense to rebuild for just a limited 1-2 year window?

Yeah...Charlotte and Nashville might both be a tad small.

Orlando has been floated numerous times and sustaining an MLB franchide with 81 home games in LV or Orlando just doesn't seem like a sure fire strategy either.

Football works with such a limited schedule of home games to sell.

Problem in Florida is there are a lot of baseball fans… just not Marlins and Rays fans. Now, if the Mets moved here, you might have something. ?

Wtf Elvis how do you not take a strike there

He's a cost controlled player for a stretch where they are just looking to sell 14K-15K cumulative season tickets.

Let's go Sevy and bring the Sox back into the mix here.

Minn -2

CLE -3

Sigh.

Were -7 not that long ago but then the schedule toughened up again.

Seby REALLY doesn't like that home plate ump

If baseball owners were smart, they would contract 2 or 4 teams, with each of the remaining teams having a larger portion of where the main profits are at, national TV and internet revenue.

On TB...they would already be looking to trade him before he hit arbitration.

Baltimore/Washington seems pretty obvious...although it would be better for MLB if the two teams flipped rosters because Balt peaked as a city in the 80s and 90s.

Chases ball 4…awful game for the superstar

You should probably stop now.

Pretty sure no one on this Earth has ever called him a superstar.

I mean, we're probably not supposed to complain after yesterday, but the calls haven't been great.

There was a missed strike 3 the pitch before the Heim HR, might be a 3-3 tie with the right call there.

Meanwhile Eloy got a called strike at the ankles, and Perez got calls off the plate all day.

They just refuse to walk

Baltimore is done, but they will likely move to Nashville.

I was thinking Oakland and Miami as the top two contraction cities, Tampa and Pittsburgh if they go to four teams.

Four Divisions, Four Playoff Teams. Protects the integrity of the 162 Game product, insures no fluke BS team is "World Champion".

If Eloy is traded at the deadline, all this losing will be worth it.

I've got a side angle with these seats but 8 thought there were some bad calls...mostly going against the Sox

He’s one of the few interesting players.  Considering he probably has limited value at the moment, rather see if he can go on a monster run in the second half.

At least Touki saved the pen today

Deadline or offseason, I'm good either way.

Best chance IMO is to keep him healthy at DH for 4 weeks plus the ASB, hope he can hit 6+ HRs despite his aversion to DH, and they can flip him before he goes down again.

He's a -28 Defensive Runs saved in RF this season.

He’s helpful but I also think the Rangers are just trying to get the game over by swinging at anything close. I doubt there are many games when Seager and Semien both were retired on one pitch each back to back.
