LMFAO I loved that 2nd look back by Eloy to check with the ump on the ball 4 call

Please stop swinging at the first pitch when the pitcher couldn't throw a strike the previous batter. It's all I ask in life.

Can we sell off yet?

Hahn doesn't make decisions, he executes Jerry's decisions poorly.

They are selling regardless of what their record is or where they are in the standings. That's why Hahn said what he said Monday, saying they are sellers if they don't feel they can compete in the playoffs.

Fans aren't paying to see this garbage, so they will cut bait and payroll like they did in the offseason, and then take much bigger cuts over the next two seasons.

Just see no realistic way Hahn and Boyer can sell fans on competing when they are going into a series of payroll cutbacks while simultaneously adding post-peak veterans who are completely unexciting, like Pollock Benintendi and Clevinger.

At least the Guardians have almost all young players except for Josh Bell... much more fun to watch, like the Reds.

Wouldn't be shocked to see Kopech on IL next.

Has failed to reach the 5th in three of his past five starts.

This ump is awful

Welcome back, Jimmy Lambert. We hardly missed ye.

And that's the game.

And this ball game is Ovah!

I'm changing my signature to Created Game Thread Record, not counting this L.

a smart org would make him an opener or multi inning reliever

Lambert lost his stuff the first six weeks when he was Cordero'ed by Grifol.

He can't survive at 93-95.

Must be nice to have hitters who can square up meatballs.

I'm very tempted to leave early. This team is awful to watch in person.

That was the worst looking swing…

That was predictable.

Jimmy Lambert would not be pitching for any other team, embarrassing to see him over and over.

A smart org would have respected his comeback from injury in 2021 and started stretching him out in the minor leagues, with the intent of working him back in as a successful starter.

Tampa seems like the perfect place.

No longer the unrealistic expectations or "tantalizing potential" at this point in his career.

He hangs so many pitches

Lambert had no chance against a roster like the Rangers, particularly in a hitters ballpark like GRF.

He also throws a lot of pitches in the dirt, because those are very hard to hit.

This entire organization is garbage. They have to sell at the readline but the problem is Hahn is garbage and can't be trusted to negotiate anything.

JR has to fire RH and hire Theo Epstein.

What?

If they were 14 games under .500 and not bailed out last night...there would be pretty much zero talk of trying to stay in the Central race.
