I'm inclined to believe after watching Trifold in 2023 we would be at least 3-4 games better...TLR would certainly get more out of Lynn IMO.

At least they were mediocre instead of abysmal/horrific.

TLR is long gone. Get over it. He was obviously not the main problem the last few years. Tony is a hall of famer. Pedro will be working for the Kane County Cougars in 5 years.

And then they did nothing to address any of the problems and removed players from the team that was mediocre and replaced them with lesser players.  This isn’t hard, TLR would be just as fucking bad with this roster and would have pissed us all off with bad head scratching moves by now while repeating after games how smart he is about things

Yeah, Pedro, that is all well and good now that we are 100 games into the season. The problem is you still sound as clueless as you have ever been. I knew you were clueless during the 10-game losing streak earlier this year and everything since is still spiraling downward.

Yeah, you didn’t have a perfect team, flawed in many areas, but whatever you have been doing is not working. Losing is hard, I know. The feeling can run deep in the psyche. Unfortunately, you have never given this team any reason to think otherwise and it shows. Work harder? You need to be better. The team is so devoid of leadership and that what is on you.

Because, the baseball gods know, the FO has none. If they did, you would have been fired two months ago.

Yep.  Lost Abreu who was their best bat from last year (he sucks this year but they still lost their best hitter and replaced with nothing) and their 2nd best pitcher from last year who was a total fluke walked as well.  They brought in a shitty always injured 5th starter in Clevinger and then decided they would rely on Eloy (lol) to stay healthy.  Add in some not shocking regression from Cease and Anderson falling off badly (which really started last year with his total loss of power) and here you are even with Luis Robert having a fantastic year.

Got hit with a paywall.  Regardless, as Grifol took responsibility for this season’s disaster, he  should resign IMO.

Be careful what you wish for. In 2013, Ventura presided over a 99 loss team that had added players in the offseason and intended to compete. Worst coached team I’ve ever seen. Accountability for Ventura was a 2 year contract extension.
