    An accurate graphic

  • Why don’t you tell us why there was no alternative?  Or why you believe so strongly in everything he has done in house, that is not visible or even quantifiable?  Or why we should accept him as “bette

  • I'll do my guy a favor and save @WestEddy some time for writing his own reply, and do it for him, because I'm a mensch.  "I'M NOT STICKING UP FOR THEM? WHERE DID I SAY I WAS STICKING UP FOR THEM?

Worst offense imaginable.  Fire this freaking idiot

You'll be singing a different when Vargas becomes twice the hitter we've seen!

He'd still be bad, but you'll see!

Focus on guys who have TWTW. Who hit the ball on the ground and who have leadership.

Was there a gamethread tonight?

Asking for a friend.

115 and counting...

I always used to do this for Hahn so I might as well do it for the “Bruised girls are best” GM.

The correct answer to that question is

“Look we know the results of this season aren’t acceptable to our fans or to us. We know it takes time to fix these things. But we owe it to our fans and to the city to take a big step in the right direction next year and some of that will come from Free agency. I can promise you we will sign anyone specific but there are players on the market this offseason who will make us a lot better next year and we expect to compete to sign them.”

Even if it’s bullshit, the only reason you declare you’re out on FA in September with a 35 win team and $50 million on the books is to collude with other teams to keep prices down, so that no one uses you as a possible mystery team that you have to bid against. Even the worse than us in ‘23 Royals made a serious move this year helped by some strong signings, with a similar payroll going into the offseason as the White Sox today.

Getz only got this opportunity by snitching out the incompetence of his direct managers while at the same time not acknowledging his own shortcomings as the head of our player development function.  He partially deserves blame for taking advantage of stubborn, gullible old man.

Uh oh.  The Excuse O Matic is not going to like this one

This is a three phase team

Can't pitch

Can't hit

Can't field

So he'll hit .200?  Bonus.

But the Sox are missing Witt (MVP1A), Perez (who Maldonado was SUPPOSED to be), Pasquantino, Massey, Fermin, Renfroe, etc.

Most importantly, four starters with 125-148 OPS+ numbers in Lugo (FA), Ragans (A.Chapman trade, two previous TJS), Singer (draft) and Wacha (FA)

With Crochet gone, the White Sox don't have anything approaching that MLB talent level, just Smith and Schultz and Grant Taylor fever dreams.

Fire Getz

In light of everything, gotta make sure this stays on the front page.

Ohtani takes dumps with more baseball talent than anyone Getz has acquired.  💩

Now the most embarrassing franchise in baseball,  not just the dumbest

Congratulations Getz.  All time worst GM.

2/3 Reinsdorf...1/3 Getz decisions.

Getz has assembled a team magnitudes worse than the rebuilding teams, which were trying to be bad.

It's worth remembering that no matter what bullshit Getz or Getz-sycophants say, last September and in the off-season, that dude was talking about trying to aim for a wildcard because of "the elephant in the room" that is how bad the AL Central is.

Even wrong on that

Not really. The AL central is one of two divisions below .500 as a whole, and several teams are in the wild card race only because they have piled up wins against the below .500 teams (team?) in the division.

Domestic Violence enthusiast Chris Getz was not forced to take this job and only allows such things because he was so inexperienced that he took the job without knowing he had to establish ground rules.

One team ruins that

That's what you are suppose to do.

Look at what the Nationals  did with their all star ss.

Grievance filed already over roughly $30,000.

Win or lose, Abrams will probably have to be traded now.

And call it what you want notice even on the game day side with all of the changes literally one guy on this offense has had a respectable 2nd half in Benny.  Everyone else is still between mediocre and awful.
