Kyyle you misunderstand my comment. I was replying to the poster who wrote out everything AI said about the deal, that this couldn't happen and that couldn't happen.

My point was if JR passes Ishbia doesn't have to wait until 2029 under the terms of the deal because it is clear JR's family does not want to keep them.

So he'll take over at that time.

I'd probably slot into the relatively positive fan camp but my frequent absences from Soxtalk can't be totally blamed on the White Sox. I can only read the same conversations about Chris Getz and the various rushes to judgment about every player and other Sox-related person so many times

I'm a positive fan! I'm not at all worried about Colson, he's a great athlete and will adjust. I think Taylor is a complete star. I think Teel has a chance of being a perennial all-star. I think Antonacci is going to have an 8+ year career with some 4+ WAR seasons in there. I believe Schultz will be an actual 1.

The problem is, the team in general sucks and run by someone who simply isnt good at this.

Is it just me or is dfa'ing Harris over Hill another dumb move? Small sample sizes, but I thought Harris actually looked decent. 4/1 BB/K for Harris vs 4/8 for Hill, 26 year old vs. 30.

I didn't even know that happened....so yes it is just you.

Harris got dfa because he can’t play cf. The Robert trade plus Baldwin injury leaves them short there. Not ideal, but that’s where they are at.

I think they have pretty much ghosted the site due to embarrassment. How much longer could you defend such an epic failure of a GM? The guy is setting records of futility.
