Sox 29-41 at home. Need to better tailor roster for GRF.

Featured Replies

Sox 12 games under .500 at home.  Sox need to better tailor the roster for GRF. IMO we need more power hitters (and we trade Burger) and pitchers that do not allow an inordinate amount of home runs to begin with.   We are getting out homered by the opposition in our homer friendly park. Otherwise we will need to rename the stadium Guaranteed Loss Field.

I mean, they're also 27-48 on the road. I think they're just bad.

First thing they need to do is acquire a young, inexpensive power hitting third baseman with about six years of control.

Yes, but they were much better on the road last year (44-37 +54 run differential vs. 37-44 -85 run differential at home).

Despite the worse road record this season, run differential is close (-77 on the road, -74 at home).

Comiskey Park II is run neutral (100) but HR positive (107, tied for 10th). Lynn (#1 worst) Lucas (#2) and Kopech (#8) killed them this year.

I would counter that they need to better tailor their roster to the MLB

You can forget replacing Moncada unless it's Montgomery at the end of the season...

More like horrible.

Teams just don't give those guys away...Kenny Williams does but teams don't.

Doesn't every team?  What organization would give that up?  I only know of one that is naive and they don't have one.
