Let's fight!!

Nats wear pink panties!!

CJ Abrams looks like a budding superstar, at worst a very valuable player as a 20/20 SS. He was picked two picks after Andrew Vaughn

Washington breaks up the shut out with a 2 out bomb....Clevinger apparantly said Nice Pimp to the hitter and pointed at the scoreboard.

what a game from Clev, 'spoiled' by a scrub. I had to look up 'Dominic Smith', turns out he might be the worst starting first baseman in baseball.

Clevinger takes the lead in complete games by a Sox pitchers with…one.

I didn't realize it was a Clevinger start and listened to the Sox strand two in the first and the first batter in the bottom half. Took a shower in the early afternoon before hitting a brewery. Considering a second shower now, washed my ears and earbuds in the interim to be safe.

Really hope they don't end with 99 losses. It would be just another 2023 failure.

Damn. Wanted to see if we could go a full game without a GT.

Turned it on in the top of the 9th to see Grandal's bat drop that died at the warning track. Went to post about that but couldn't so had to start a gamethread.

Clevinger has pitched well this year.

The fact that some people on this site think that no team will pursue him for their rotation next season is laughable imo.

I would pursue him.

He's actually Sox only 'starter' who has a clue. He's the team MVP this year, tying with Robert. I guess if Robert hits 40 hrs he's team MVP over Clev.

Tonight's game was how our guys were supposed to hit. Seriously. Check the box score. Timmy had an MVP type game. Most everybody got a hit or two. Nobody looked outmatched. Vaughn had some nice pokes. TA is up to .250 finally.

Don’t worry, Clevinger is all they have the scrubs are out for the next 3-4 games

Not a lot to choose between these bozos and the starting pitchers who pissed the season away.

In September Clevinger has something like 23 strikeouts and four walks. He hasn't had a bad season. Sox desperately need pitchers, I'd certainly see if he wants to return.

I think Getz knows that, too.

Yeah, you definitely have to pick up your half of the option.
