I think the idea today is to use both Heaney as the starter and Dunning as the first reliever out of the pen, hoping to get a long enough outing to give their offense a shot. caulfield12 Posted October 20, 2023 Share Posted October 20, 2023 (edited) Turns out that starting both Scherzer and Heaney were pretty critical mistakes because they could have put the series away...and now they're going to be in a dogfight from here on out. Rangers' offense has been so unpredictable in the second half of the season...just never know what you're going to get, but obviously the potential to explode at any time.
