Not going to the Cubs--would have been real cool for the city of Chicago. Probably not so much for Sox fanbase. But the Cubs wouldn't go spending on any of their other needs after shelling out that kind of money, so they likely wouldn't win anything anytime soon even with Ohtani. Would be Angels situation 2.0
