Morosi put this out there, so it’s not happening. 

Morosi seems like a nice guy, but he’s really awful as an “insider”.

Chuck's been angling for Merrifield since last off-season. He must've been thrilled when Morosi brought him up and Chuck got to talk to Morosi and interview Merrifield .

Robert Murray says in his pod that Merrifield is not near signing anywhere.

He also wanted the Sox to sign Puig.  Dude needs to look into a different career because he fails at baseball.
