Didn’t know where to put this, but since the 4th of July (80 PA sample) Bryan Ramos has been on fire: 133 wRC+ | 12.5% BB rate | 15.0% K rate | .258 ISO | .280 BABIP Kid doesn’t turn 23

Definition of SSS but a 24% K rate is actually something to get excited about

He was over 50% in his first 10 games worth of ABs too, which tells you he has adjusted well.

Yes that's pretty exciting.....his babip is high I want to see where he is at when it normalizes but the improved plate discipline and mega game power is awesome.

It's possible he could end up being fairly close to 20 HRs in Low A despite not being there the whole year which would be incredible for an 18 year old.

Cherry picked stat, but a fun one.

Wow, Schultz is flying up.

Think he only moved from 9 to 8 in this update. Probably because Skenes graduated.

Colson dropped 18 spots from the June update as well.

Colsons OPS on RHP fastballs below 94mph: .900+

Above 94mph: sub .700

His avg above A ball: .215

(got this info from latest Sox machine vid)

Maybe that’s why he’s struggling because Jake Burger sucks.

Big George on the hot sheet again.

Quote

4. George Wolkow, OF, White Sox

Team: Low-A Kannapolis (Carolina)

Age: 18

Why He’s Here: .455/.556/1.091 (10-for-22) 7 R, 1 2B, 2 3B, 3 HR, 14 RBIs, 5 BB, 10 SO

The Scoop: Wolkow is an extreme example of high-risk, high-reward. He’s 6-foot-7 with enough swing-and-miss to his game to keep season ticket holders air conditioned. Of his 12 outs this week, 10 were via strikeout. But he also went 10-for-12 on balls he put on play. Weeks like this past one are where you dream of what he could be in a few years after plenty of at-bats and development, especially once you remember that he’s younger than some of the high school prospects in this weekend’s MLB draft. Apparently, LHP Lucas Gordon and 1B/OF Caden Conner promoted to high-A Winston-Salem. Very exciting.

There was a lot of movement today, Camilletti and Goosenberg to Bham. Veloz, Gordon and Connor to WS. Mason Dinesen to Kanny (Burrowes placed on IL).
