Bockenstedt with 8 K’s, 0 BB’s, 2 H’s, & 0 ER’s through 4 innings.  He was a 5th year senior who we signed as an undrafted free agent, so he’s very much on the older side for A ball and solid results shouldn’t be all that surprising.  That being said, he was a guy the Sox targeted immediately after making their last pick, so maybe there is something there?  Haven’t seen him pitch yet so no idea what kind of stuff he has, but may put Kanny on if he goes back out for the 5th.

They have a guy from SIU-E and Illinois starting on the bump today.  I'm not sure how you could bet that but you would get outrageous odds.

Eder walks a guy and gives up a long double in the first.  Not that sharp yet today.

2-0. Eder does not have a lot.

Elko with a booming HR.

Elko destroyed that baseball.

Much better 2nd for Eder. Error by Baldwin extended the inning, but he threw a lot of quality strikes with 2Ks.

Baldwin and Quero both just missed. Go out on the warning track. Still 2-2.

Eder getting hit hard in the 3rd. Currently 3-2, but he is in real trouble.

Quero is too advanced for AA pitching.

I actually feel pretty solid about Quero/Lee at C.

Billy Seidl hasn’t been very good but damn is he available. I swear he pitches every day.

Boy did I not foresee this ice cold start from Ramos.

Gonzalez has his OPS up to .848. Now outhitting everyone on the Dash and also everyone’s favorite draft prospect that the Sox passed on, Enrique Bradfield.

Quero sure gets HBP a lot.

Eder looks like he might be broken. Shame. Sucks.

Idk why he came here and immediately started to suck.

Thanks for posting this.  He’s going to figure out his s%*# almost immediately now.

It worked with Montgomery, hopefully it works again. *crosses fingers*

One of the worst teams in baseball deserves both a Goosenberg and a "Hack"enburg.

At least we also have "Willits" Tower, although I would guess he's actually short and an Eckstein-like middle infielder.

Heisenberg?

I need Aly to talk s%*# about Ramos now.

Hard to stress how much I'd rather watch Tim Elko at 1st base over vaughn. I don't care that he'd almost certainly K at 45%.
