Roeper Sox Column...

Featured Replies

I like Roeper and appreciate his dedicated Sox fandom.  But, he doesn't mention the elephant in the room that is the cause of all this misery and incompetence:  JERRY REINSDORF!!!

Very good column/story. I read the whole thing and he looked up a lot of facts. Curious to not at least mention Jerry and some others. Only names he mentioned were the announcers and some players. Yeah the Sox stink and we longtime fans are hurting/suffering.

Since the Sox hit 12-28 on May 11th, theyve gone an incredible 9-32 since then.  That's a winning percentage of about .220.

The 2003 Tigers at the halfway point (81 games) were 20-61. One game behind the Sox.

C’mon Sox…

White Sox fans are suffering and I get the impression that management doesn't care if the team keeps losing.

I don’t think they care either, the question is WHY.

Well that's an easy answer, they are making money the way they are running things. Who cares if Johnny Deepdish is pissed about it. Its a business, JR is here to make money.

Cause people didn't like Tony LaRussa being hired

My only hope is to outlive Reisdorff and pray the new owner doesn't move the team. I will be sending Jerry a box of cigars, complimentary sky dive lessons, and one free  submarine trip to see the titanic , whatever happens , happens

I know.  His article here is so off base and inaccurate…

We'll just have to disagree here, I thought he nailed all the points this franchise has been brutal at this season.

Sorry, I was being sarcastic Lip.

The only things that are worse for a film critic than following the Sox are Trigger Warning and the other relatively new Jennifer Lopez/AI film with Simu Liu and the really successful African-American actor from THIS IS US.
