I thought he may have some juice left in his tank in the offseason but he still received far too much money ($8 million).  I wouldn’t be surprised if he retires once the season is over.

Who is Roberts? We don't have any players by that name. 

Benitendi must really love Chicago, as soon as this thread started about him being shopped, he tanked even worse than he had all year. 1-11 since this post, definitely actively trying to stay with the White Sox.

Are there any SP on any teams with a similarly bad deal we can swap 1-for-1 with? I'd feel better about taking a gamble on a SP to plug into a 5th SP spot to eat some innings during some bad seasons than playing Benintendi.

Edit: Taijuan Walker and McCullers (granted, hasn't pitched since 2022, but opening up space on the 40-man every year could be a benefit haha) are a season short.
