April 5Apr 5 Nine games played with scoring margins of 21, 12, 40, 34, 32, 34, 32, 11 and 4 points, working out to an average margin of 24.4 points. The game that prevented a double-digit sweep: a clash between the 25-52 New Orleans Pelicans and 20-57 Sacramento Kings. It was one of only two days in NBA history with at least nine games with an average margin of victory of at least 24 points — and the only other was the previous Sunday. For the season, there have been an NBA-record 89 games decided by at least 30 points, including the five games on Friday.espn.com
April 6Apr 6 A lot more smoke around the front office getting blown out. Cowley mentioned Dunleavy Jr as a possible candidate. There is also a random rumor out there of Paxson coming back. Billy D seems safe unless he opts to go back to college.
April 6Apr 6 Masai and Myers could be two great candidates if they go experienced route and want to spend some dough.
April 6Apr 6 After watching AKME putz around, not being able to spend any money, build a almost completely worthless roster that clearly Michael Reinsdorf helped design, why would anyone want to come to the Bulls to be the GM or president of basketball ops? Just an absolute dead end job with that boss sitting there

They got horrible value back.

I don't know who missed their due diligence there, but once they actually tested him and figured out he couldn't play AFTER getting him, it just goes to show you someone blew it on that deal. Of course they were looking for a post-hype bargain, but maybe when he was available that cheaply in a trade, you should have seen the red flag?

April 6Apr 6 Didn’t think the guys following GarPax would make me wish for GarPax(the beginning part not the end) but here we are

April 6Apr 6 If I'm the Bulls, hire whoever is in the OKC front office. Any of them. By far the best run organization in the NBA.

Then like 2 years later the actual architect leaves. Can’t imagine getting to watch two sports organizations run my whole life, know I can run it, and just be such a dipshit. Michael Reinsdorf.

April 6Apr 6 Can Michael also sell the team to Ishbia??? Should be a very interesting offseason. 100m under the 1st apron, potentially 3 top 40 picks in a supposed DEEP draft.... Go blazers.

April 6Apr 6 Kap got a text from an exec saying Billy would be moving to the front office (19 minutes if the link doesn't work).I'm trying to process how those two would make a roster work.

Not gonna happen butttttt.....I really do think Billy has a great basketball mind. It'd seem very Riensdorfian to just promote the coach into a front office roll, but i think I'd support it.
