It's a good thing you're accumulating all these draft picks so you can start developing those 9-10 very good players.

  • AKME gonna try to turn in their 100 2nd round picks for a top 3 overall pick like they're at the prize counter at Dave and Busters.

I had very low expectations and that is somehow still lower than them.

  • The Kings really saw the Bulls roll out Zach and DeMar for years and said "we'll do that "

Then when they finally debelop to that "good" level...and become more expensive, we can trade them off and continue the perpetual rebuild.

The more Bulls thing would be that 3 of those 10 will end up decent and they’ll trade 1 of them and keep the other 2 so they can be just good enough to continue playing the Hawks in the play-in game forever.

Even Trae Young is getting tired of it all...

Bulls were up 24. They lost by 21

Was watching - Curry went off and Bulls completely fell apart. Nuts.  Buzelis had good first half.

Anthony Davis played less than 1 full game with the Mavericks.

He is out multiple weeks with an adductor strain.

Robert or Moncada would be out 3-4 months...or come back and swing with one hand or something.

Guess we now have "will he?/won't he?" about Travis Kelce's impending retirement for the entire offseason...so there's that to look forward to.

Team owner Patrick Dumont, instead, brought up "character" and "culture" in regards to the Doncic trade.

“In my mind the way teams win is by focus, by having the right character, by having the right culture, and having the right dedication to work as hard as possible to create a championship-winning outcome,” Dumont said. “And if you’re not doing that, you’re going to lose.

“If you look at the greats in the league, the people you and I grew up with — [Michael] Jordan, [Larry] Bird, Kobe [Bryant], Shaq [O’Neal] — they worked really hard, every day, with a singular focus to win,” he said. “And if you don’t have that, it doesn’t work. And if you don’t have that, you shouldn’t be part of the Dallas Mavericks.

“That’s who we want. I’m unwavering on this. The entire organization knows this. This is how I operate outside of basketball. This is the only way to be competitive and win. If you want to take a vacation, don’t do it with us.”

Two of the ejected fans held large poster board signs that read, "FIRE NICO" -- a reference to Dallas general manager Nico Harrison. One of those men was seen mouthing "fire Nico" on the arena video screens earlier in the game before the camera quickly panned out.

"In the first incident, the guest brought in a sign that broke the following rule included in the NBA Code of Conduct: Clothing, garments or signs displaying explicit language, profanity or derogatory characterization towards any person(s)," Mavericks vice president of corporate communications Erin Finegold said in a statement released to reporters.

I don’t think it’s crazy, and I’m a big fan of Flagg. Big difference though is Flagg is almost two years younger.

And slightly more marketable...

Lol Bulls.

Down 63-22 with 3 min left in the first half.

They got this tank thing figured out. Come on top 3 pick (preferably Flagg).

"NBA fit and intel: Chicago got the San Antonio Spurs to lift their rights to this pick (previously top-10 protected) as part of the three-team De'Aaron Fox/Zach LaVine trade. Though the Bulls should be worse without LaVine and might end up drafting in the top 10 anyway -- making for a somewhat minor return in that deal -- Chicago was flirting with the play-in and is now guaranteed to have a first-round selection regardless. Duke center Maluach, the clear top rim-protecting prospect, would fill a void, giving a young roster a long-term defensive backbone. The Bulls have been without a defensive-minded big for some time, with this era largely defined by their trade for Nikola Vucevic in 2021. -- Woo

As a team, the Bulls shot 12-of-52 (23.1%). As a team, they were 1-of-23 from 3-point range (4.3% — yes, four percent). As a team, they committed 10 turnovers, two fewer than their field goals made).

And it was all against the Pistons, a solid team but definitely not among the elite in NBA defense. Detroit outscored Chicago 34-18 in the first quarter, which felt quite lopsided, and then they won the second quarter 37-11.

Rookie Matas Buzelis ended up leading the team in scoring with 12 points. Chicago emptied its bench so fully that every player on its active roster scored at least three points, which is an achievement in itself.
