Skip is currently employed by the Marlins, so I doubt that is happening until after the season.  Could definitely see that being the plan, however. 

NO one has any idea what this is about, so the thread title is being edited to reflect lack of news or rumor from any other source.

In the end, JR is not parting ways with any monies.  Grifol will survive the year, probably survive the offseason ( got to have someone for fans to yell at at Soxfest ), then they can fire him around the ASB  next year.   Tony is most likely calling the shots.

They killed Soxfest 2 years ago.  Can't yell at Soxfest if there is no Soxfest.

If only Tony were calling the shots, things wouldn't be this dire.

Sox announced Sox Fest was supposed to be returning this coming off season in part because it is the 125th season of the franchise and the 20-year reunion of the 2005 championship club. 

Now given what's happened on the field this season it would not surprise me one single bit if they find some excuse not to have it again.

I don’t see any details on a location.  I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets cancelled.
