They also had Christian Walker signing with the Yankees last week.  So they just tweet out the deflection excuse.  I like how they expect people to believe that a GM didn’t contemplate whether a free agent was worth their qualifying offer or not, prior to offering the player a deal.  This account is a sham of bigger proportions than the Chicago food accounts.

Cannot be announced before Jan 15. Window closes like a week later. A decision will be announced sometime mid to late January.
