  • Woof. River Ryan is a nice prospect, but is 26, injured, and a pitcher. Oh yeah, and Gavin Lux is Gavin Lux. The hardest of passes.

O’s continue to sign mid pitching with Charlie Morton.

Maybe Elias is just a point A to point B guy, and they need a B to C replacement.

Man, Elias sure is cheap when it comes to starting pitchers.

Orioles signed RHP Charlie Morton to a one-year, $15 million contract.

The 41-year-old hurler took a while to make his decision to return for the 2025 and had a strong preference to pitch for a team that has its spring training in commuting distance of his family home in Bradenton, Florida, so the Orioles wound up being a perfect match. Morton registered an underwhelming 4.19 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and a 167/65 K/BB ratio over 165 1/3 innings in 30 starts during his final season with the Braves.

Morton has had a great career. That said, they are really rolling the bones by bringing the fences in and not getting higher level pitching. They better hope Rodriguez develops into a true ace or they’re gonna waste a window of some of the finest young talent in the last 20 years.

I realize top starting pitching talent is super expensive but how do you throw $50 million at Tyler O’Neill but are only willing to give out one year deals to Sugano and Morton for $13 million and $15 million respectively?

Alrighty then folks… we have entered a new level of offseason pain. To help pass the time, I propose a community task.

Using AI, illustrate scenes from the upcoming 2025 season. Think of yourself as the Stan Lee of White Sox lore with the ability to foresee the future.

He'll be assigned to Winston-Salem. Somebody's got to run and get the baseballs when the prospects hit them.

White Sox need better fake insiders.

You listening, Orlando?

Looking for that stopgap SS they can cut after a month. I don’t think that’s Iglesias though. Had a good year.

Jordan Montgomery?  Hahahahaha!

The Cubs not able to come to an agreement with Tucker is absolutely insane. What are they doing?
