I wouldn't care if they signed Bozo to play SS. It would probably be on a minor league deal. Clevenger's a POS, and I hate the signing. I won't post everyday that I hate Getz for signing him, but I don't like it. I also get tired of the a-holes who think it's funny to pretend Clevenger was "completely exonerated". He wasn't. I hope he tears his rotator cuff on his first throw, and that's the last we see of him.

I'd imagine this is a sop to the limited partner who parties with Clevenger. It has no effect on Getz's work on the organization. I'm out of town, and really don't want to argue with people who think it's funny to pretend that an abused woman is a liar, just because.

And she has his kid so she is paid off his salary. Why would she want his salary lower?

Something changed with ownership specifically in the recent past, it used to be “high character guys” to a fault for both the Bulls and Sox. Clevinger and Giddey would not be on these teams a decade ago I feel. Maybe neither one of those guys did what they’re accused of, but there’s clearly something there, and they have a reputation that other teams refuse to deal with. It’s like, the Reinsdorf teams are garbage anyway, and then they acquire guys you really don’t want to root for who don’t even begin to move the needle. What’s the point? To piss us off? They didn’t want south side hit man posting on soxtalk anymore? it’s sort of like that Deshaun Watson signing blowing up in Cleveland’s face. It’s funny it didn’t work, karmic perhaps, but then he’s still getting paid like a hundred million dollars. Bauer was too stupid and too proud of his youtubing to stay quiet, so he talked about the legal sordid s%*# he DID do, and no team ever wanted him after that. Cost himself a ton of money.
