85 pitches, 1.4 whip, 0 ERA. the WHIP isn't great but the stat doesn't account for producing double play balls. Saved our guy.

He could've stayed in. Two good outings from the starters.

Not in early April...

This post is wild to me.  Canario is one of the worst contact hitters in all of baseball.  His contact rate in AAA would have been the worst in the majors by two full percentage points.  Why is that g

Wind knocked it down.  off the end of the bat just enough.

55 of first 58 Sox games East Coast and CST.

Weather will be an issue.

Sure if Meidroth starts impacting the ball as a hitter.

His job is to get on base at an elite clip, no idea where this idea he needs to impact the baseball comes from to be a useful major leaguer (he‘s a star if he does).  Regardless, the dude put up league average exit velocities for Boston’s AAA last year.  He isn’t Jeff Kent out there but he also isn’t Nick Madrigal.

nice inning murf

I'll take that inning every time.

get him over and get it in

i'm interested to see who we think our setup men are

If Baldwin can just be league average with the bat, he can be a highly valuable player.

right, it's terrible when pitchers go five innings without allowing a run. you hate when that happens.

luis, i would like an extra base hit

thanks

Jon made that story up about country music in the 90s. I lived that same period, nobody was working out to country.

Bryse Wilson next?

Interesting.

The dude with the lowest swinging strike rate in AAA is going to struggle to hit .270?

Are you fucking serious? Is this little league?

Whoops.

Need better baserunning there.

JFC was that embarrassing Baldwin

Well our pixie dust lasted all of 1 game.

This is painful to watch.

Then why isn't he up now?

Or a concensus Top 80-120 prospect?

Nobody can be confident 100% those numbers hold up in the big leagues.

Anyone here ever do any of those Sox Crawls? I just won tickets to the one they're doing on April 12th. Never been before.
