4/9 Sox @ Guardians 5:10PM CT

I'd say you have to send him if he had even 30% chance of scoring. If you have any shot at a run there you go for it rather than bank on this team producing another hit.

Yeah the send was right. Kwan doesn’t have a big arm.

Jones running for him I can agree with since he was the tying run and both play the OF. Was he in the dugout ?

Earlier in the game Len Kasper said Jones was there

I think tomorrow is also the final day a player needs to be in the minors before we’d claw back a year of service e time.  Will be fun to lose a year of future control of Teel for one game in a 115 loss season.

You’re being pretty optimistic.

My apologies, then a coincidence that they keep having so many issues like this?

I have no idea what's going on. Grown men hold a lot of responsibility for their own health . Combination of cold weather and previous soft tissue injury, age and lack of pinch runner and trying too hard.

I don't know if it's bad luck or just players grow up softer these days. There's no way to know  and I can't blame people I have no knowledge about what they are advising or if the players listen. Obviously s%*# just happens too. Nothing is 100 % preventable. We could try to figure it out for a lifetime and never know.  I don't look for people to blame with injuries. Maybe something somewhere might've made a difference in preparation or healing process but people get hurt exerting themselves even those with better doctors than the rest of us.

Well, that's seven straight...shall we try for 10?

Don't forget in that 9th inning Robert (yet again) failing to do anything with runners in scoring position or on-base. He is a shell of himself now.

Sox have now scored 34 runs in 11 games, that's a tad over three runs a game. They have also scored three runs or less in eight of the 11 contests. During this losing streak they have scored a grand total of 15 runs.

Putrid up and down the roster/lineup.

The good news? They may be cooked by May 1st and we can tell them to kiss off and try to enjoy the rest of the summer.

They’ve also faced a lot of mediocre pitching.

Seems like nobody bothered asking Venable post-game about whether he thought Tauchman was playing at less than 100%, whether he considered a pinch runner, etc.

Easily, and injuries are piling up in places that they have no depth.

So the injuries are basically at any position?  😂
