PaleAleSox
Baseball is so dumb. Vargas crushed the ball yesterday and had nothing, today he gets a check swing single. Nevermind. He is out.
caulfield12
So much for all the positive vibes lol. Just keep it to two runs.

caulfield12
You have to establish the FB first for the far better change up to actually be effective. Foul ball. Barely.

No team in baseball these days can expect to use just one rotation for the entire season.

PaleAleSox
Really wish there was a better option than Wilson. But he was probably up late last night dropping off a shipment in his 18 wheeler.

He's not going to be back before July. Please understand that doesn't give teams much incentive to trade for him. Routine throw over gets away lol. This game has been bad ever since Vargas call reversed. Edited May 15 by caulfield12
WestEddy
8 minutes ago, fathom said: How’s it depth if one injury results in Bryse Wilson starting? Actually, 4 Tommy John surgeries and Perez' injury resulted in the guy they promised a shot at starting - starting games. So that's 5 injuries, and 2 guys in AAA not being able to throw strikes, if we're going to get technical. And even with that, they still have 3 guys on the 26-man with starting experience behind Bryce Wilson, 2 other guys at AAA who might get starts in the bigs, and Jesse Scholtens may even be back by the middle of June. So, yeah, they had and have depth.

A weird, hidden benefit to signing a pitcher is that they actually pitch some games for your team. Trade value is an added bonus.
