OMG THEY ACTUALLY SENT VAUGHN TO CHARLOTTE

Nothing would be better than Vaughn making the necessary adjustments down there and coming back a new player. Same with Elko- apply what you need to from your brief cup of coffee to be better prepared for when you come back up.

This worked for Torkelson…let it work for AV.

Youtube just hired a guy from ESPN who was in charge of their distribution. Don't think it's completely out of the realm of possibility to see RSNs pop up on there. More likely today than it was a week ago, at least.

That’s good to hear

Fire the hitting instructor/Coach.  He stinks.  What pathetic hitting team.  Vaughn is one of the few major league players we have.

Fair enough. Games are pretty easily accessible via sites like steameast. I pay The $150 or whatever it is for MLB TV each year just for the convenience, but I could definitely understand not wanting to pay that.

He would be blacked out from MLBTV anyway.

1. Getz reads SoxTalk.

2. He got the idea of sending Vaughn to Charlotte here.

Man, Gavin Sheets would be a DFA candidate if he was here.

Sheets has 10 homers and 31 RBI's. Do the same favor to Vaughn. Get him on another team's roster. Sheets might hit 30 homers this year? Laughable we let him go if he does that.

He was HIGHLY unlikely to do that without getting him out of Chicago first...

Vaughn has regressed every year he’s been in the Majors.
I hope this stint in Charlotte somehow gets him to the hitter we all hoped he would be, like someone said it helped Torgeson as he’s having a great year with the Tigers.

I know, pump the brakes, it's way too early but:

Colson Montgomery last 7 days .400/.478/1.328 with 2 hrs.

Hopefully Vaughn can be viable when he comes back.

I'm so happy for Sheets. Can only imagine what it's like to play for a bottom 2-3 organization in MLB. That's why I want Vaughn traded. He seems like another good guy, like Sheets. Would love to see Vaughn go somewhere and rake.

I find it hard to believe it's been years since we've had a really good team on paper. Before the first tank job we were consistently a team that on paper had a chance. we were a team with real major league players. Now I'm in love with Beni and somebody on here yesterday showed me his stats reek as well.

In conclusion ... Jerry, order the trade of Vaughn. Give him a chance like Sheets to excel somewhere and make some cash.

Nobody's going to trade for Vaughn unless JR kicks in another $2+ million on this year's contract.

Otherwise, you wait for him to be DFA'ed and pick him up for the minimum.

Sell him as Sheets II. Once he gets away he can reach his potential.

You're still not going to get anything but some salary relief...
