That breaks the cardinal rule that non-contenders don't need closers...but hard to believe they can win close games without one to instill confidence.

I hope he's given a chance somewhere if not here.

If you remember Getz's comment from a few weeks ago it appears that they do not have a high opinion of him or feel he's a long term solution.

At least get 1 guy with experience who won't choke every game.  A C level closer

I feel the same way about Getz.  I don't have a high opinion of him or feel he's a long term solution.  The only long term solution I feel from him is consistent at losing 90-100 games in my lifetime.
