You've posted in the past how you're  not a fan of so called rebuilds. I happen to agree with you. What difference is there between  rebuilding and losing on purpose? This rebuilding/losing on purchase is just a scam. The rebuild=low payroll and more money for the owner. This team lacks power hitters. Tim Elko who has power was brought up for a few games and hit 3 home runs. He was then sent down again. Is anybody going to tell me this isn't losing on purpose?

Look, I wasn’t even a fan of sending Elko down but you are being so silly about him.  The dude hit .161.  Yes he hit 3 home runs but he didn’t hit anything else for 31 at bats.  5 hits, 10 Ks, 1 walk.  He was not good and even though I wanted him to stay, you need to realize he isn’t this bombing savior you think he is

He might not be  the bombing savior  but all I'm saying is he deserves a chance. I'm tired of seeing Taylor , Rojas and some of their other players not produce..

He wasn’t producing.  They sent him down to get him going again to clearly bring him up again later when this roster churn is over, and all you have done is cry about it in every post like we sent down prime Frank Thomas.  Elko will be back

Not trying to argue here but in modern statnikdom, isn't a hitter supposed to hit a HR or K? For most value? He was hitting HRs.

Greg this is dumb even from you.  I gave basic stats. 5 hits in 31 at bats.  10 of those at bats ended in strikeouts.  
 

I didn’t cite those advance stats that confuse and frighten you.

Elko should have been given at least 100 ABs, 31 ABs was a joke but the 3 homers projects to 60 with a full season of 600 ABs.

I already said I wanted him to stay but the amount of complaining about this move, for a guy who hit a few home runs and THATS IT, is crazy.  He will come back up and hopefully mash, but the guy has a problem with striking out and always has. Hopefully they get something out of him
