very good ABs from Elko tonight. He is holding his own.

Elko .681 OPS still better than Vaughn.

And the team just seems to play better overall with him in there....call it the Univ.Mississippi CWS "luck factor"

Rojas hit .225 last year, what was the purpose of bringing him in

Veteran presence

Rojas has been a pretty useful player throughout his career on the strength of good defense and not-bad offense. For whatever reason both of those have stepped back so far. If he's playing hurt then I think he should stop doing that.

Much better at-bats from this team in the last couple of weeks...maybe not always showing results, but battling at least. 

A mind-boggling 8 walks for the Sox tonight.

They would go weeks at a time without doing that last year.
