Lightning in a bottle WS team with one of the most dominant playoff runs ever A president, a pope and a brief stint by Michael Jordan 5 no-hitters, of which 2 were Perfect Games. The other 3 were nearly perfect. From like 1995 to 2015 we had a fun run even with not much sustained winning. We had a lot of stars, memorable events, etc. Since 2015 it's been really not a lot of fun. That's no way to win a pennant. Sox don't have one star on the team now. Our star constantly hits under .200. Once in a while he robs a home run in center and "some" fans go nuts like he's an actual star. I don't think Vargas is a star but he's our closest to that with 10 homers.
