GreenSox
Back to the norm. Where does Getz come up with the likes of Noda and Capra? (and Slater and Rojas, et al). And then Venable puts Noda at leadoff. WTF is going on here? He's not giving the team a chance to win. Not that it's a big-deal long term...but no need to intentionally knee yourself short term. 1

Exactly, you need to stop this culture of losing and have the best chance of winning games. Even the Rockies put together a little winning streak but Venable with these asinine lineups isn’t giving the team a chance. You are seeing long term. They need to get lucky drafting a difference maker and not one who is only good every 5 days. Losing is a habit.

greg775
Man we got clobbered today. Yesterday musta been the deal where the Jays took us lightly. They have such a much better team. Did anybody watch the Cub highlights? It must have been gale force winds blowing out. Simple fly balls were flying out of that place.

Exactly. If the Sox aren't even going to try to win, why should our fans watch ? Why should advertisers support the Sox ? Why should the media take them seriously ? Meanwhile where is the Ishbia clan with all their billions? They have a large ownership interest in the team with the exclusive right to take control. What is the advantage to them of letting this kind of damage to the franchise and depression of the fan base continue on? I think a loser image is beginning to emerge and no one wants to be part of that or of waving the white flag. Edited June 22 by tray

Based on the results since the start of the 2007 year the "loser" image is fully operational and ingrained in this organization.

He is 14-6 lifetime now and over the years when he does pitch bad against the Sox his team bails him out and he doesn't get a loss but a no decision. Shades of Santana Sox domination.
