  • I really miss Harold. Was really helpful for me and informative. I think fucking losers on this site finally chased him away. It’s a real shame if so.

  • I'm with you. Hard to argue about a left handed hitting OF with a patient approach and some notable thump with solid tools across the board. I take this all day at 44.

  • Yea same. Imagine chasing off an insider who routinely would feed the board tidbits on draft intel, trade info, and knowledge on the inner workings of the org. Shows how shitty and petty some of

Well, let's hope the Dev team has improved a lot with hitters.

That is my fear.

Good pick Getz

Got the true SS he has wanted.

Sox don't care as Colson was in the same bucket.

Great value

Pretty clear pattern with Getz by now that he really prioritizes players who take good at bats/make good swing decisions. He may be right that this is a tool that isn't too hard to scout and is really hard to teach.

I was wondering if Baltimore shoved him down.

That would be peculiar. He was tabbed as an under-slot guy in the top 10.

What other picks will the Sox make tonight? 44 and 76?

The one quote i saw from the kid, although the article also cites his strong core strength, was I'm a greyhound and not a pitbull (talking about his stature) and teams that drafted him should let him be.

Can still be baseball strong without bulking but was interesting.

Are people gonna be salty if the Cubs get Irish. :D

Not at all upset with the pick, Carlson is a top 10 worthy talent. Unfortunately it’s just hard to be optimistic about this franchise developing a raw hitter.
