OT: Andrew Vaughn just hit a grand slam against the Cubs.

Tyler Osik is furious.

But for real, I wonder what's clicked for Vaughn.

Just don’t waste a dime to see the new Superman movie.  Watched a pirated copy and it is absolute garbage.  James Gunn must have Warner Bros using bots to post positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes for that steaming pile of s%*#.

Agreed.

Fantastic Four is much much better...even though box office quote similar.

Would have rather watched a romantic comedy with Rachel Brosnahan and and basically anyone BESIDES Superman after that one.

The main problem is most lists of the Sox core don't even include Sosa..., basically, this team possesses the most unpredictable future core of any team with a Top 5 milb system in recent memory.

The Orioles' issues look like relatively nothing in comparison.

I feel like there’s been a similar rhythm to these last few series. They come into the opener confident, maybe catch teams sleeping a bit, battle and grab a win.

The opponent punches back in game 2, they visibly lose confidence with every hit that doesn’t fall for them or does for the other team, and let bad calls/breaks set the momentum too easily. Then game 3 is about if and how they respond.

It does feel like their win rate in openers is higher than on the season, which speaks well to their pre-series prep. But adjusting in-series if Plan A loses effectiveness, or even being able to distinguish between bad process that needs adjusting and just unlucky results they should push through, is something young guys will have to learn with experience.

Didn’t work for anyone else.

As far as the hitters go, they were all pretty much injured messes by the time they left except for Burger, who had his own injury history, and Sheets, who turned it around.

The other exception is Abreu who just got old.

done with Cannon, dude just isn't good

Give him another offseason in the pitch lab but I don't see how he gets better unless he magically finds either a nasty changeup or another couple ticks of velocity. Both unlikely. He's 93-94 with a bunch of junk and kinda just hucks it up there and hopes for the best.

I agree but I'm not expecting much out of him maybe a #5 guy at best.
