p.s. Sox are winning at a good clip even with a pitching staff of ALL no names. Nobody's heard of any of these guys.

1st time there were 2 3 run HRs in the same inning for the Sox since 2018  when Abreu and Delmonico did it. 

Also 1st time this year any team got 7 hits in a row.

Steve Stone mentioned how versatile he was and the Sox had options going into next year....I took that to mean that they might look into stretching him out to start.

If Teel and Quero do no better than they have been doing for the next 8 weeks, They

would be more valuable than gold.  23 year old catchers who don't strike out much, hit the ball hard,

take a bunch of walks and play solid defense are true unicorns. Hahn and Getz might just be clowns,

but they both made at least 1 great trade each.

No, as I said in the game thread, he needs to get in the lab and add one more decent pitch and he's good to go. He has a solid fastball slider combo, needs to find one more pitch.

Show now watching the CHGO podcast show on YouTube hosted by Sean Anderson who does a terrific job providing information and where I got how the Sox data indicating Colson was a good candidate to try the torpedo bat . Since he tried it he got results right away and has been on fire since that 2nd game of the TB series. 

I'll post the link to the podcast . I watch many Sox podcasts regularly.

Anderson is ok. He's entertaining but absolutely discounts anything that doesn't have to do with numbers. His views are only from that perspective.

Well I need help dealing with advanced pitching stats so I'm learning more. 

Plus the last part of the podcast sounded just like the arguments I was making today about why you don't pick up the option on Robert. You take the best offer and don't look back. But we'll see how it turns out tomorrow.

Probably cause owners want their own guys. But Getz working with no funds has a totally wreck of a team now just a little bit below average team (with horrible pitching talent and more but still not enuf excellent bats). Not bad job by Getz.
