A nice winning streak would be nice.

Paddack on the bump for Detroit, Peguero for the Sox.

You made a comment about the attendance in St. Louis. Baseball is losing its popularity in this country. ESPN is dropping its MLB coverage after this year. ESPN then announced they bought 2 NFL stations. MLB announced that this years MLB All Star game had its highest viewership in years.  It only drew 7 million people. A fraction of what it used to be. The MLB World Series TV ratings haven't been much better. I'm really worried whats going to happen if their is strike or lockout after the 2026 season.

Who is this starting pitcher?  Where did he come from? Is he the best we have to throw out there tonight?  I guess the answer is yes.

We picked him up on waivers from the Brewers a week ago.

MLB and ESPN are back negotiating on a new baseball contract according to stories last week.

Guess I'm out of the loop, but why do they do this? Seems destined to waste BP arms

You have a bullpen arm face the 3 toughest hitters of the order, once, making them the 7,8,9 hitters for the starting pitcher, and easing the "starter" into the game, some.

Not sure we have a 5 man rotation after trading Hauser/sending down Cannon.

I think Martin Perez is throwing a side session to determine if he's ready to start in the bigs, again. With Davis Martin, Shane Smith, Burke and Civale, that makes 5ive.
