Also why you should never start a terrible pitcher just because he’s a “starter”

Really think King gets the start if he had signed an extension with SD.

That crap about starting G1 in the next round from Shildt not very logical.

Tatis trying to hit everything, even when it's nowhere near the zone.

And took the one good pitch he’s seen

Every fucking break

I’d be a lot more annoyed if Padres were actually hitting anything hard.

Hell of a jump by Sheets.  Doesn’t make the play with a good jump, but he still looked like he’s never played in the outfield.

I was just thinking that Brooks could've made that play lol. JK, that ball was ripped, Statcast said it had a .720 expected batting average. But Sheets did indeed look silly.

Fortunate to get out of that with Peralta in the mound.

He and Matsui back of pen.

How slow is Arraez? That's 2 he should have beaten out at first.

Announcers going nuts about a play he would tell you he botched

Can’t hit that pitch on the ground

Weird bullpen management this series. The starter King only goes 1 inning despite looking good? Why did Darvish start over him in the first place? Miller and Saurez throwing a combined 45 pitches in game 2 also strikes me as a curious choice...

Also, why are the announcers having an orgasm about Swanson making a routine play? "He's everywhere!" No, he's standing at shortstop and the ball was hit directly to him.

They just showed 5 plays that even I think Colson could make

Crowd at Wrigley going WILD for an immensely routine flyout lol

Cubs fans as dumb as ever

Some team will sign Suarez to a lot of money and it will be a disaster

Padres offense has scored 4 total runs in their last 48 postseason innings

Bottom of this Padres order has to be the easiest to plan your bullpen against.

Fermin has actually been good this series, hitting him 8th to break up the 3 lefties would actually make a lot of sense.

Why didn’t King start this game?

It's not gonna matter if the Padres can't score a run.

Their lefties just seem late on everything

Hes safe

I don't think that's getting overturned.

Missing Baez

He got Ramirez on a pretty similar play today.

Padres can't catch a break on offense.
