Do you think Roch Cholowsky has peaked as a newly turned 21-year-old?

I think he's still the top choice, but baseball is the one sport where it's possible so that's why it concerns scouts.

The intriguing thing with Lackey for me is how much better he's gotten since high school, each year.

This reads like the kind of careful answer you give when you need to pretend he's not already your guy

  • This is the best news they could have received from these meetings. I do question Getz referring to it as an honor. Dude, it pretty much means your team really sucks.

  • Getz should get drunk tonight and sign an outfielder.

I've also talked to scouts, evaluators and media type evaluators about Cholowsky. I get how it works. Cholowsky is the clear #1 choice for basically everyone I talked to. Lackey has a real chance to go #2 but if the White Sox chose to not select Roch for whatever reason, it would likely be to take Emerson.

Emerson would be rough for 1-1.

Well, let's hope the Sox don't get cute and go with the easy choice at 1-1.

UCLA on Big 10 Network at 9.

Roch raised his hand sliding into second and got smoked. Shaking out his right wrist running back to dugout.

It should be a battle between Roch and Caleb for #1 in the system. I don’t think you just hand it over to Roch in July.

It will be a Cholowsky due to his much superior fielding at SS…

RF SS DH 1B Catcher the five highest OPS positions in baseball right now

Edited by caulfield12

Bonemer has to go to LF 3B 2B…one of those three spots.

Braden for RF.

Still need a real CF, both offense and defense (no it’s not Zavala)

Billy Carlson SS 2B CF

Antonacci 2B 3B LF

What Bonemer doing at his age and level is more impressive than Roch in the Big 10. Agree 100%.

Bonemer has a wRC+ in professional baseball as a young guy for his level of 211.

Roch is at 156 in college.

Bonemer has a chance to become a top 3 prospect in the sport if he keeps this up.

Look at Griffin struggling mightily now out of the gate…

That said, Witt and Griffin plus plus in arm and speed. Elly de la Cruz as well.

something Bonemer and Roch will forever be lacking

they have him cratering

2027 : .211/.298/.339 (.638)

2028 : .216/.304/.347 (.651)
