  • He’s not much more expensive than O’Hearn would have been with an incredible amount more of upside and flip potential.  There is no downside to this deal, as let’s be honest, they’ve wasted 17 mil a y

Add those to my list of endorsed Nikes to buy that my favorite athletes use

My list currently stands at these two which are too hard to find in my size, Manny Pacquiao Nikes:

Japanese travel site highlighting Mune and the Sox at the Rate as a "destination"

Linked article has a ton of pictures and info about the park, amenities, food, etc. They got treated to a pregame stadium tour.

They mention that Boyer is working with at least one Japanese travel agency to be able to offer packages that include suites/club seats "for 2027 and beyond"

I've been saying it for ages, but I really do think this gets done.

Mune is the 2026 Dick Allen taking over the Sox lineup. Great times.

Every time I say the same and bring up quotes like this, everyone poops on me. Mine is staying forever.

Cool - yet another thing I would love to get but can’t afford! 😆

I’ll be a millionaire again someday. Being perpetually broke sucks.

I'll at least say it's not out of the question that they'll extend him. First there's all the extra revenue that Boyer says they're bringing in thanks to him. Do they really want to give that up in another season and a half? Then there's also the Ishbia factor. With ownership transfer on the horizon and Ishbia already having a minority stake in the team, it's not out of the question that the Sox would be more willing to sign him to a long-term deal than I would have believed in the past.

None of those Mune related revenue have been finalized as Japanese corporate sponsors await his long-term destination.

TV ratings in Japan and Sox merchandising are largely shared revenues across all thirty teams, except for those sold through the ballpark/team store.

Ishbia's private equity company has a contingent contract to purchase the rail yard in Pilsen on the East side of the canal. He is seeking a Federally backed loan to relocate that yard. Not sure whether the ISFA , owner of the Rate Field parking lots, is all in on a land swap with Amtrak, at least not that I am aware of. That would be a first step to relocating the rail yard to Bridgeport. That, and the Federally backed loan.
