Gaslighting 101 👎🏻😆

What I stated wasn’t political.

whenever there are market failures and private lending freezes up due to risk aversion, only governments can intervene

Where the politics enters is in choosing which corporations and individuals/homeowners are bailed out, and which ones are hung out to dry.

  • He’s not much more expensive than O’Hearn would have been with an incredible amount more of upside and flip potential.  There is no downside to this deal, as let’s be honest, they’ve wasted 17 mil a y

I can say that as a D, lol.

I did not realize that Meidroth has been striking out that much, that's alarming.

he's also really struggling against RHP, but crushing LHP

.226/.305/.316 (.621) / 133 AB

.370/.442/.500 (.942) / 46 AB

If the Sox had any outfielders, I'd suggest platooning Meidroth and Antonacci. But with the dearth that exists, both will be playing every day for a while.

Loosely related, but I'm surprised I haven't seen more speculation that the Nishida call up was at least partially to positively influence imminent Mune extension talks.

Yes that does seem to be exactly how it works these days.

Caulfield, while you do have some interesting and off the wall posts sometimes, you don’t seem like a Dick to me.

Only two non-rookie Sox have ever hit 20 before June: Thome and Thomas

Pretty good company

Soroka at $7.5 million for 1.3 fWAR also one of the best off-season moves so far.

Doubt he’s selling any jerseys, though.

Going to be fascinating to see where Mune lands when this is updated for April and May

Twins broadcast on Mune's HR last night: "It's not normal to be able to do that to the opposite field!"

That can’t be real lol. But Big Frank was probably hitting .290

Was just about to post that. Incredible.

Getz on extending Mune: "Everything that he gets in the future, he’s earning,” Getz said. “I’m really happy for him. This has worked out tremendously for both parties, for the White Sox and for Mune. I know he loves it here, and we’re going to try to keep him here. That’s all I’ve got to say.”

Get well soon
