They also recently drafted Roch Cholowsky first overall, who is expected to move quickly.Bergolla impressed scouts during spring training and was off to a strong start in Triple-A, hitting .457/.525/.571 in 43 plate appearances before going down with a shin contusion. He has started his running progression and could be close to going on a rehab assignment. Given the White Sox depth in the infield, it’s hard to find a spot for Bergolla. However, he could be an appealing target for teams that believe in his improved bat speed, especially given the combination of contact, speed, and defense he brings to the table.
