Luis Robert won't be on the next good White Sox team. Acuna and Pauley might be. It's basically that simple. The league just told you what Robert is worth. Holding him into the season would be insane.

Yeah don’t really think we’ll regret not having him. We’ll just continue to regret not dealing him last offseason, and trade deadlines, or two ago.

We rode Robert from a Ferrari to a 86 Toyota Corolla with 500,000 miles on it.

Hope he has a healthy year

Fun listening to the conversation between maybe an older brother to a younger brother. But the older one sounds like he said Robert came from Minnesota 😂

I heard the same thing, lol.  Was wondering if anyone would catch that.  Pops thinks he’s Buxton or something.

To me it suggests he's already strained something.

Yep. This doesn't mean incompetence on the Sox part (in this instance). I think this dude just has soft tissue issues.

Probably the usual spring training optimism,  but we will see how many games he plays.

O/U: 91.5? Is that a good number?

If you subtract out 2020, 511 games in 5 seasons, so an average of 102.  Dump out the 145 outlier, and 90 looks pretty normal.

I personally think Robert ends up healthier with the Mets and/or other future clubs.  I do think the White Sox are partly to blame for his struggles.

There are just some guys whose bodies weren't meant for the grind no matter how strong or athletic they are.

The Mets got his medical reports before the trade. They're just pumping themselves up to let their fans know they're on top of it.

Oh look at all that scar tissue from his hips on down. Gee ya dont say . What were you expecting to find ?

To me, it suggests they have found they same thing we've been looking at for years.

Turns out the Sox wanted Bady, were offered Vientos, and the teams settled on Acuna.
