August 4Aug 4 About what was expected - hopefully he takes it up a whole nother level this year. Last year was a huge step-up and he did it playing hurt, would love to see him set the standard and become the best RT in the game this year! Well deserved pay day for Wright!

From what I read this was like Marc Columbos injury and I don’t think that guy played for like 2-3 years after he got hurt with the bears

What's more likely is they knew they weren't going to keep Gervon long term, and with Van De Berg looking like he's potentially a player, they decided to move on.With that stated, record wise, they're going to take a step back. He definitely is a loss on the interior pass rush but guessing that limited use made them less interested.
