March 11Mar 11 That error by Sox was costly. I didn’t realize tie breaker is purely runs allowed against teams you tied against. So let’s get 2 runs here and than they are pretty much set right? If they lose by 1 but Mexico beats Italy by 1 - than us would win tie breaker against Italy due to run differential right? let’s just score 4 here but 2 makes the tie breaker scenario far better.
