Dunn single .Hays scores 8-0. 10 straight reach base.

Avenging that February 23rd, winning streak ending, 5-4 loss to the Rox.

Drew Romo triples home all 3 runners. 11-0. 11 straight on base Still no outs.

Sox finally make an out after a Bergolla RBI groundout.

3 triples in the inning

Bergolla grounds out . RBI .12-0 !

Bases empty 🙂

Holy crap. We were up 1-0. I step away to get some work done and now its 12-0 wtf.

Noah Phalen is currently drafting a tweet on how Dunn, Romo, and Bergola should all make the opening day roster.

Very solid. 25 of 33 pitches were strikes. Hopefully he'll keep settling in and make it a tough decision to keep him or not.

If you know you arent going to make the playoffs picking up free pitching talent that automatically slots into your top 15  or so prospects might be a risk worth taking with him and Alberto.

Its like getting 2 decent pitching prospects in a trade but you have to burn the 1st service year right away.

I saw people discussing if Paez could be the PTBNL in the Hicks trade if the Sox like him but don’t want to keep him on the MLB roster. I’m not sure how that works though since he’s a Rule 5 guy.

11 run inning ends. Dunn is a double away from the cycle.

Guys must've gotten tired running around the bases over and over

If he was clearly looking not ready for prime time, he probably slips through waivers. Then they cut their deal with the Red Sox. This was discussed on this weeks' FutureSox Sunday night podcast, where a team like the Nationals are desperate enough to grab and hide Paez.

William is looking sharp. His time is coming up pretty quickly.
I hope we keep both Rule  guys; I assume we will use Paez as one of those "players to be named" in  a lingering Boston trade.
If I had my druthers, they would DFA Beni and Hicks....they are clogging.

Of the two Rule 5 guys, I think they have a better chance of shielding Alberto since he’s a hard thrower and a pure reliever. They can just hide him in garbage time until he proves himself.

If they can find a way to keep Paez as well and develop him in the minors, that would be nice.

Pereira's not going to get enough at bats to beat out Kekenic at this rate...

Looks like Jared will get his last shot.

But Baldwin is also blocking him...or should be.

Kelenic isn't making the team, even with his recent success at the plate

I believe this isn't allowed, I think @Y2Jimmy0 discussed this on futuresox YouTube (might be getting my Sox social media confused)

Why? He would be retuned to the Red Sox if he doesn’t make the team and then you figure he can be the PTBNL that our Sox select and come back to us.

Benintend Kelenic Acuna Baldwin Kelenic

Baldwin and Acuna double up as infielders.

They're not going to keep Korey Lee over him.

I believe he said he has to be put back on waivers first

Sox win 12-3. Their record is 11-7 .

That's a 99 win pace over 162. Ya gotta believe!!!

He does (that's how we got Vasil), but it should be likelier than not that he gets through. Not a lot of teams with MLB innings available to stash a guy who hasn't even pitched in AA.

The Rockies seem like a particularly bad welcome to the majors for a young arm skipping levels, and Washington just signed Littell which makes them a less likely fit...who else would have the BP roster spot to spare?
