Both Thorpe and Berroa can be moved to the 60-day.

Nice to score some runs and get the win.

Wish they had taken advantage of the bases loaded situations better though.

Cannon doesn't look like anything is going right for him now.

Famgraphs says Cannon still has one option remaining, if it’s up-to-date, but I’m not sure. I’m assuming they put him on the IL regardless.

My mini conspiracy is that the injury was fake. Not sure if by him, or by the org. With Schultz coming up, obviously Cannon was going right back down. Now they can IL him and he earns a MLB paycheck. Sox did this before with someone iirc.

A split in KC is ok. Not just our Sox but most teams would take it.

Wasn't really a very enjoyable series to watch, but the teams seemed surprisingly evenly-matched. Sox pitching over-performed and Royals aren't getting much even with Franco, Witt, Cags, and Jensen all looking hitterish. Pasquatch is really struggling.

On the radio side, they said Cannon looked like he was pitching scared. You can't do that in MLB.

Other than Teel/Montgomery…but it’s fairly easy to imagine none of the other currently rostered position players still around two years from now.

Antonacci feels 50/50 to me. He really should be at second to maximize his value.
